Beneteau launches the new Oceanis 52 and Oceanis 47: the new generation of cruising sailboats

Two world premieres will be unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025: the Oceanis 52 and Oceanis 47, models that mark the beginning of the eighth generation of Beneteau cruising sailboats. Developed in collaboration with the design studios Biscontini-Nauta Design and Finot-Conq-Nauta, they carry forward the legacy of a range that has been a benchmark for nearly 40 years for those who love to sail with elegance, comfort, and performance.

Oceanis 52: innovation and refinement at the top of cruising

Designed by Roberto Biscontini and Nauta Design, the Oceanis 52 represents a significant evolution compared to the model it replaces, the Oceanis 51.1, from which it inherits strength and performance, while improving both livability and sailing capabilities. The new hull is wider at the stern, increasing interior volume by 30%. The cockpit layout is designed to adapt to every moment on board: aperitif, lunch, relaxation, or sailing. Height-adjustable tables, integrated grill and fridge, forward and aft sunbeds, and a fold-down swim platform make life onboard simple and enjoyable.

From a sailing perspective, the Oceanis 52 stands out for its efficiency and ease of handling: well-separated winches, twin helms, self-tacking jib, and the possibility of installing a Code 0. The First Line version, with a taller mast and genoa, will certainly satisfy those seeking top performance.

The interiors are stylish, bright, and quiet thanks to the designers' focus on sound insulation. The heart of the boat is the spacious saloon with a C-shaped galley, tall fridge (up to 450 liters), and sanded oak finishes. The forward owner's cabin features a 160 cm bed, generous storage, natural lighting, and refined details such as padded headboards and soft LED lights.

Oceanis 47: the perfect balance between tradition and modernity

The second model of the new Oceanis generation is a 47-footer that combines Beneteau's know-how with a modern vision of cruising. Designed by Finot-Conq for the hull and Nauta for the interior, it's a boat conceived for comfort both while sailing and at anchor, without compromise.

The cockpit is spacious, convivial, and versatile: two tables, comfortable seating, optional outdoor galley, and a layout focused on safety and fluid movement. It is also available with a closed cockpit version, ideal for families, or an open version for those who prefer direct access to the sea.

At the bow, the owner's cabin offers generous space and a sense of well-being thanks to large windows, natural light, a 160 cm double bed, and plenty of storage for personal belongings. Materials and finishes are available in three atmospheres (Sunset, Pacific, and Ivory) to match the owner's taste.

Under sail, the Oceanis 47 will stand out for its maneuverability and ease of use, with a self-tacking jib and fully equipped helm consoles featuring 12-inch screens. Here too, for those seeking more performance, the First Line version is available with a taller mast and extra sail area.

A new standard for cruising

With the launch of the new Oceanis 52 and 47, Beneteau raises the bar for modern cruising: more space, more comfort, more sailing pleasure. These boats are designed for those who want to experience the sea freely, with style and reliability, without sacrificing performance or attention to detail.

Both models will be available for purchase from NSS Yachting, official Beneteau dealer in Italy. Contact us for a private appointment at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025.
