The two new Beneteau sailing models, the Oceanis 52 and the Lagoon 38, have been nominated for the prestigious European Yacht of the Year 2026 award.
The Oceanis 52 represents the latest evolution of the historic Oceanis range: a model that combines elegance, innovation, and tradition, redefining the standards of comfort and precision for those who want to sail in total safety and peace of mind.
The new Lagoon 38, on the other hand, strikes a perfect balance between comfort, style, and space. Since its presentation, it has won over the public thanks to its exceptional marine qualities, making it the benchmark catamaran in the 12-metre range.

The jury, chaired by the magazine YACHT and made up of editors-in-chief and directors from the twelve most authoritative sailing magazines in Europe, will test the boats during a full week of sea trials. The intensity of the trials and the judges’ expertise make the European Yacht of the Year award a truly unique event: no other recognition in the nautical industry uses such a thorough selection process.
The winners will be announced at the upcoming Boot Düsseldorf, which will be held from January 17 to 25, 2026, during the official award ceremony.
